MUCH BETTER

I went and found a pregnancy pillow yesterday and with much hesitation spent money on it... Sheldon and I decided if it didn't work we'd return it immediately but this morning, woke up and it was a ton better... at least after sleeping... today it's back to normal but at least my sleep was comfortable!

Thank you again for everyone's back pain pointers! Helps me HUGE! :)

Avery's Room...

I got to sleep in fortunately today... although the more I lay down the more my back hurts... weird (any suggestions?)... So now I'm gonna get ready for the day and run some errands. First thing on the list... GET A PREGNANCY PILLOW... see if that helps the lower back pain.

I'm in the process of rearranging Avery's room and getting her closet together so that after the upcoming showers we'll be totally ready to get things organized everywhere! I will definitely put up pictures when I get everything together! :) I'm very excited! I'm gonna run to Stellie Bellies, a super amazing consignment shop we have here to scout out some items we're in need of so I'm gonna head out! Hope everyone has an amazing weekend and that it seems like a long one because they always go by sooo fast! :)

Belly!

I totally saw my belly hop when Avery kicked today! So insane!

Also this week's new phenomenons... ridiculous lower back pain, uterus stretching pain, inner thigh pain and indigestion lol fun times! Hopefully this part doesn't last the rest of the pregnancy!

Sheldon's cute comment for the day...

I get home, Sheldon tells me... "So I've been thinking... it's about time you get Avery out of your belly... I'm ready to hold her!" He's gonna be the best Daddy ever, honestly! :). LOVE IT!

Crazy Love

Not sure if all of you have heard about "Crazy Love" a book written by: Francis Chan... We've been reading and doing the video series for Sunday morning Bible study with the kids. It's really been great discussion and a huge time for them (AND ME) to really contemplate things... So far Chapters 4 and 5 have kicked my butt in making me really ponder some of the things we push aside in life and think it's ok... Sheldon said 6 will as well lol. Anyhow it's been discussing the "lukewarm Christian."

Sometimes we do things and we justify them over and over because we think, "hey I'll never be perfect" which is true... but we use it as an excuse rather than trying our absolute hardest to be better. I'm even guilty of it... just settling for what's in front of me rather than pushing the boundaries and really living up to my fullest potential...

Anyhow... just some thoughts I've been having... if you haven't read it... READ IT! It's a super easy read and WAY WORTH your time! :)

Lord, what a day!

So this morning I got up at my usual 5:45 to get ready for work... about 10 minutes before I left I started having a sharp stabbing pain in my lower right abdomen area. I tried to ignore it and just finish getting ready. By the time I started driving to work it had gotten pretty bad... It didn't seem like a normal cramp that I'd had before... this was much worse... SO I called Sheldon to tell him I thought something was wrong with me or Avery... by now I was crying of course because it was a very scary feeling... I got to work and just put my feet up. After about 30-45 minutes the pain finally started to lesson and distribute across all of my lower abdominal area. Sheldon came and got me not long after. When the doctor's office finally called me back she explained to me that it seemed I was having severe round ligamental pain. Although my pains were worse than normal she was pretty convinced that's what it was... which is basically the stretching of the uterus as Avery grows. CRAZY!!! Although I am still pretty sore... the pain is NOTHING compared to this morning so I am very happy to know that we're gonna be ok lol :)

This afternoon I had a scheduled ultrasound at 3:30. Avery was ALL OVER THE PLACE,... even the tech was like "good grief" lol I do believe we have a spit fire on our hands. Not sure why I'm surprised ha ha! :) Avery's due date was yet again pushed forward from August 3rd to now, July 31st... so maybe we won't have a little August family after all! My whole family will be here the last week of July so the earlier the better that way Daddy and Ricky will be able to meet Avery then! :) So this Friday I will be 24 weeks! TIME IS FLYING! There's still so much to do and so much money to save lol... insane!
